| Trail Maintenance Notes: |
Six husbands in the alpine zone really needs a brushing quite badly! Blazing on Huntington ravine head wall starts off great then is hit and miss higher up. Could really use some new blazes at confusing spots higher up. Had to constantly check GPS to stay on trail. Signs of recent axe work and brushing on great gulf and lower six husbands-thank you! |

Awesome sunrise on Huntington Ravine head wall. Redlined entire fire road for 31st edition as well. Should have just skied it last winter! upper headwall hard to follow in a few spots without GPS guidance. Auto road was open early due to bicycle race-surprised to see cars streaming up at 5:45. Socked in from Nelson Crag to Jeff’s knee but cleared up just in time for the epic gulf views from just before the trail begins the steep drop. second time descending six hubby’s-such a blast and incredible trail. found an epic 7-foot deep swimming hole just beside great gulf trail. Nothing beats a West Branch ice bath on a long, sweaty day!!! Left Wamsutta as last trail to finish the redline with my kiddo sometime soon:) |
