Comments
Comments: Nice morning for a hike and clouds lifted throughout the day opening up the big views. Trees need to be removed first mile, blazes need to be painted and serious brushing needs to be done. Saw Barefoot Ben from Lancaster hiking up but discovered he wears trail runners for the descent. So many people on the summit and no idea why people are idiots trampling off trail. I said to one guy guess I am a Karen you know you shouldn't be stomping off trail and he was mid 30s and knew he shouldn't but what no one else said anything to him to stop him??? Oh well, the 4ks are a mess and all the trail work they did on the summit loop is deteriorating badly, the logs are proving to have been a very expensive and stupid idea sadly.
