| Parking/Access Road Notes: |
We were the 29th car in the lot at 10 (my wife counted). Maybe get have been able to squeeze in one or two more before people would have needed to start parking along the side of the access road. |

All easy hops. |

Newish duck under near the start. Not a big deal unless you’re just the right height to honk your head. |

| Dog-Related Notes: |
Love s of friendly pups out on this gorgeous day. |

| Bugs: |
Virtually none. A few deer flies when we stopped for dinner and one annoying one on the way back along the bushwhack. That was it. |

The perfect day for hiking. The weather was practically perfect. While it was wet in the usual spots, a lot was drying out. There were even muddy spots where the mud was starting to dry out. Bushwhack is in good shape (but beware the maze of paths). Took a bushwhack along the east shore of Rocky Branch to avoid those two extremely close crossings. It’s actually shown on AllTrails but the path is pretty easy to follow. Will have pictures and videos up tomorrow on our instagram at quantum.moxie. |
