The trail is blazed in yellow and they were fresh enough. I don't recall any blowdowns along the short section we were on and the bog bridges were in fine shape. I believe all signage was intact.
We walked the stick part of the lollipop and a short section of the loop to the left to a short spur in order to access Mountain Pond where we put in two kayaks. The main purpose of the trail report is to let the maintainer know that the reroute around a muddy area that I believe was on the short section of the loop we were on is now more or less muddy as the old trail itself and doesn't seem to do much good. Nice place for a kayak! |
