Trail Maintenance Notes
Trail Maintenance Notes: Two blowdowns removed, one at the beginning of the first steeper pitch after last sure, and one freshie near the top of the second steep. Removed three juvenile conifers that will be a problem with a snow load due to blowdowns. Noted continued waterbar maintenance - which is fantastic. Suggest adding a few more rock stepping stones immediately after last sure water to aid in the rapidly increasing mud pit/trail creep in this area. While some stones exists, more need to be added as their are not a gait a normal human utilizes. More of a giraffe. I am happy to assist anyone with DOC in their creation, my email is below.

Comments
Comments: This is mainly for the trail maintenance remarks above. This is a culmination of 4 summits in the last week. Trails are in great shape overall. Stonework/waterbar work would be helpful to increase the sustainability of this well trafficked trail. I am happy to be a part of the solution and not just mention it here in a report. See above. I lucked out and hit a great cloud layer with sideways rain this morning before sunrise. Tricky conditions in glasses above treeline. Of course it was blue skies by the time I got to my car at 0630.
