Water Crossing Notes
Water Crossing Notes: No issues on any crossing. For those venturing FROM Lincoln Woods, the four "bigger" crossings of Black Brook, the first, second and fourth crossings are flowing, the third, as usual this time of year, is dry.
Trail Maintenance Notes
Trail Maintenance Notes: The upper section of Twinway, from treeline heading to the 90 degree bend in between G/Z could benefit from a haircut. There is also about an 8" conifer blowdown in the area of the tallest PUD summit (ladders ish) between Zeacliff and Zealand that has been limbed, but will be a problem in the winter for sure, its head height now. New highly overt sign at West Bond summit spur. Zealand Spur sign has reappeared.

Comments
Comments: **NOTE: The well pump as at Zealand was broken as of today, you can still get water there as they are boiling it, it will be fixed soon they say.** A FINE day in Henry's Woods. This hike completed my July for every-calendar-day-4k. Because that's what normal people do. Lincoln Woods side as usual much drier than Zealand side. Side visit to Trestle 16. Trails are in great shape throughout. Since I am allergic to trails, I took a logging spur that hugs the 3400 contour up on the side of Bondcliff and whacked back to the trail like a wimp. Seems like the Helipad on Guyot for the NHNG helicopters has become the defacto hang out and trample on alpine veg spot as their was about 20 people there. Many finishing their 48 yesterday on the Cliffs. A fine day to be outside and solidify those fantastic hiker tan lines.
