| Parking/Access Road Notes: |
Just before 8 a.m. Appalachia parking lot was overflowing with parking on both sides of the road in all directions. It was a stellar, blue sky, good forecast Saturday so that tracks. |

All rock-hoppable |
|
| Trail Maintenance Notes: |
One blowdown with a herd path around on Short Line. Otherwise the trails were in great condition, there was a little running water here and there (on the lower trails) and some slippery mossy stuff on King Ravine but mostly dry. Love the Randolph trails |
|
| Dog-Related Notes: |
Saw a couple of dogs as we were descending the short bit of Airline. Off leash and looking hot and tired |
|
| Bugs: |
I swallowed one in the only little batch we saw on a wet spot in Kings Ravine |

| Comments: |
For all the cars in the lot we felt like we had the trail to ourselves for the most part. |
