| Parking/Access Road Notes: |
Some ongoing work on Green Hill Rd. Iron mountain road is steep, narrow, rough, with some erosion. It's in pretty bad shape. Just go slow and hope you don't meet any on coming traffic. Ample parking at the trail head, with an overflow lot nearby. |

Really nice trail with lots of switchbacks up to the summit. The .8 mile over to the cliffs is up and down, but also in good shape. Nice views from the cliffs, however hazy, or smokey. Nice hike. I would do it more often except for the road issue. Saw a few others on the trail today. |
