| Parking/Access Road Notes: |
I parked at the western end of the Bailey Brook Trail/the start of Kulish Ledge Trail. The former large parking area is blocked off so there's really only room for one car to pull off. I was the only one there around 6:30-7pm. |

| Dog-Related Notes: |
Good trails for dogs. The Partridge Woods Trail Map only says that dogs must be under your control at all times but I think a sign near the start said that dogs needed to be leashed. |

| Bugs: |
Much worse here than they were at Moosilauke. I used spray which seemed to help with the mosquitos but the smaller bugs were still a nuisance. |

The trail is blazed in yellow which I think was a little faded. It was signed and isn't difficult to follow but is overgrown and is set back a little ways from the road.
2nd hike of the day after Moosilauke. This was a quick and attractive loop for SNH redlining along Bailey Brook Trail which coincides with Kulish Ledge Trail at its western end. Some cool historic sites and some scenic falls and pools as well. The trail isn't difficult to follow but could be trimmed back in a number of places. I don't think there was much mud. I hiked the loop counterclockwise, which is opposite of how the guidebook and brochure describe it or suggest. Gaia had me at 1.1mi, 30ft of gain, 125ft of loss...something seems awry considering this was a loop ;P Also, the road walk back, hiking it counterclockwise, is uphill. No one else seen. |
