Lots of stake and rope as well as scree walls on the Franconia Ridge Trail to keep hikers on the trail above tree line.

Comments
Comments: Most of the trail surface on the Greenleaf Trail up to the hut was wet including some stretches with running water down the path. The rocks are potentially slippery. Take care on descent.
The trails above the hut were generally dry. The short section of the Greenleaf Trail in the Eagle Lake runoff is a rock hop.
Saw Alpine Goldenrod, Sandwort, and Boots Rattlesnake Root flowers above tree line.
The forest floor in Eagle Pass is carpeted in thick bright green moss.
Visibility was somewhat limited by the high humidity. Nevertheless, there were good views of all the surrounding peaks.
Lots of hikers out today. Most were hiking the popular Franconia Loop. Met Hannah from Ireland for the second time. I met her exactly one year ago in Tuckerman Ravine. She was one of the leaders from Camp Walt Whitman. There were also groups of hikers from Adventurelore from Danville NH. Lots of Quebec hikers out today and one from Ottawa. Met an AT thru hiker from New Zealand.
