Parking/Access Road Notes
Parking/Access Road Notes: Room for perhaps 6-8 cars at Lambert Ridge Trailhead Parking lot - this time nobody blocked me in - yipppeeeee. I was thinking I might regret backing in because you don't have as much turning radius as pulling straight in but it worked out fine

Water Crossing Notes
Water Crossing Notes: crossing on Ranger Trail near garage was minor

Trail Maintenance Notes: couple large blowdowns - i forget specifically where
Dog-Related Notes
Dog-Related Notes: why not? Except super-slippery.
Bugs
Bugs: absolutely awful. The kind of bugs that go around your eyes and ears continuously... super-vicious.... I was just about to enjoy a vista when one flew into my eye and got stuck...

Comments
Comments: Welllll I hadn't been up in maybe 10 years so it was time to revisit. Everything was pretty wet from the rain. I guess I really enjoyed Ranger Trail because I just imagined the jeep going up to the firetower. I went up the stairs to firetower but did not enter cab because the door was super-heavy. I could push it but I needed more effort than I was feeling. Really good views from firetower. Descent via Lambert was super tough for me - many slippery rocks and lots of ups and downs I had forgotten. I actually fell on the slippery rocks a couple times. Nice views from the outlooks on the Lambert Trail.
