Comments
Comments: It was a beautiful day with comfortable weather for this long trek to Mt Wolf today. There was plenty of mud and running water on the trail. Most of the mud was unavoidable and I managed to step in one where I almost lost my boot. This is a beautiful forest walk with not a lot of views, but a stop at Gordon Pond is a must for an extra .6 miles added to your hike. We seemed to between 2500 and 2800 feet until we weren’t after the trail junction, from there it’s a steady climb to Mount Wolf. Saw lots of AT thru hikers throughout the day who were definitely enjoying the nice weather and cooler temps today!
