Comments
Comments: This particular hike definitely rivals some of the 4000. Upon discovering Connor road was washed out (no surprise) we soldiered on and put all the miles behind us. Of course the old log road walking was unremarkable, but the upper parts of Shelburne & then Kenduskeag were incredibly rough & rugged. Finally breaking out of the woods to a beautiful breeze was excellent! Gaining close to 3000 ft. elevation no joke! We only met a group of 3 all day. The solitude was immesurable. This is why we chose the road less travelled. Pics will be posted on the FB 52 WAV page. Hike On!
