| Water Crossing Notes: |
I started out on the main trail but Downes Brook was running high and fast after Debby’s rain and I wasn’t sure how easy it would be to cross. Not wanting to find out, I went back to my car and parked at the gate for Logging Road 511. I passed a few people on my way down who had successfully crossed the brook with their dogs. |

| Comments: |
Logging road is smooth sailing with some areas of taller grass. Potash Mountain Trail had some areas of mud, standing water, and wet rocks but overall much better than I expected. The top section was mostly dry, including the slabs on the scramble right before the summit. |
