Recommended Equipment
Recommended Equipment:
Water Crossing Notes
Water Crossing Notes: Stream crossings were high. Did have to step on some partially submerged rocks on a few of them.
Trail Maintenance Notes
Trail Maintenance Notes: This is the main reason I'm writing this report. There is about a .1-.2 mile section of Ethan Pond Trail in the middle where the bog bridges are completely destroyed and there is a ton of mud/standing water in the trail. A couple of these have been marked with flagging tape, so hopefully that means they'll be replaced.
Dog-Related Notes
Dog-Related Notes: Saw lots of happy ones
Bugs
Bugs: Basically none!
Lost and Found
Lost and Found: N/A

Comments
Comments: Leaving this report mostly for the purpose of reporting on the condition of the bog bridges on Ethan Pond Trail. I think (but am not positive) that that part of the trail is in a Wilderness Area, so I'm not sure if they will end up repairing the bridges. There is a lot of standing water in the areas where the bridges are eroded, and it's rife for people to start wandering off trail to avoid the water.
