Comments
Comments: The trail is well blazed in blue and signed at its bottom but not at its jct with Cates Hill Trail. Pay attention to the blazing as many roads/snowmobile trails do intersect the trail. Our friend, who was not altogether new to hiking, often was not sure which way to go on the descent.

A lovely little hike with Lil Young, a friend, and her baby to the summit of Jasper. Unlike last time, it was not crazy hot/humid and the bugs weren't horrific. Cool and windy at the summit and it spit some rain on us at the summit too. The Presis were in the clouds but we still got great views to many peaks and our beautiful town of Berlin. I don't recall ground conditions that well but I think that the trail was mostly dry. Gaia had us at 1.3mi, 460ft of gain.
