Parking/Access Road Notes
Parking/Access Road Notes: There were many cars in the LW lot at 7am, but still plenty of room available. There were some cars at the sides of the Kanc to either side of the lot, likely from weekend overflow.
Surface Conditions

Water Crossing Notes
Water Crossing Notes: Three on this route. First was an easy rock hop. Second was flowing to the point where boulder hopping was for the younger, more agile. Several of us waded, barefoot or with water shoes. Brrrr - that water was cold! The third was barely doable with rock/boulder hopping. On the return, the third went ok without wading. The second was handled by some via wading; I managed to use the two logs (in poor shape) spanning the first half, didn't need the water shoes. At around 11am, the East Branch of the Pemi was flowing at around 260 ft3/sec.
Trail Maintenance Notes
Trail Maintenance Notes: As noted in other reports, Lincoln Woods has some blowdowns, none a real problem. There is a set of branches across the trail right at the junction with the Black Pond Trail. There are a few blowdowns on the Black Pond trail also, as well as on the bushwhack north of the pond.
Dog-Related Notes
Dog-Related Notes: I didn't see any. I imagine crossings might have been a problem.
