Ferncroft was half full at 8:30am, only a few cars left mid afternoon. Oddly quiet. |

One stepover blowdown just before summit, maybe 0.1-0.2 below. |

Not really, maybe a couple, nothing annoying. Lots of butterflies on dirt road by houses. |

Found a pair of black Spy Optics sunglasses on view Spur. Brought them down and put them in box at kiosk. |

Much love for Wonalancet Out Door Club (WODC). Trails in excellent shape, looks like some fresh stone stair installs just before where Rollins Tr connects in. Great work. Thank you, always a pleasure to wander these trails.
Quieter day than expected, only saw a couple people all day.
Lots of trailside mushrooms, asters and some blue bead lilies.
Some slicks rocks coming down Walden Tr for a loop over the summit.
Views were meh today with low clouds, but still a nice day to be out. Close-in views only to Hedgehog, Potash and a few others from view spur. |
