Comments
Comments: Did the whole loop, although it's clear that most people just do the short out-and-back to the falls. The side road just past the trailhead that the loop starts with is easy to find, but unsigned. It ends in a clearing, and the trail continues on the left at the end of the clearing. From here to the falls, the trail is difficult to follow - it has several twists and turns which are not obvious and unblazed. Several sections of the trail have two interlacing beaten paths. There's also plenty of mud and several blowdowns. Highly recommend using a GPS or Alltrails, and watching it closely. I'd say that unless you're redlining, there's really no reason to do the loop.

The waterfall is spectacular, and I saw several people who I'd seen earlier on Magalloway! Good to see people doing Garfield Falls as well while they're up there.
