Recommended Equipment
Recommended Equipment:
Water Crossing Notes
Water Crossing Notes: I couldn't find a way to rock hop the crossing of the Little River on North Twin trail -- it was only an ankle-deep wade though, not a problem other than temporarily wet shoes/socks.
Trail Maintenance Notes
Trail Maintenance Notes: Lend-a-hand is super overgrown with grass and shrubs/ferns; it's somehow worse than Fire Warden's, even though the latter is abandoned. Fire Warden's has several large, recent blowdowns that totally obstruct the trail in places.
Dog-Related Notes
Dog-Related Notes:
Bugs
Bugs: Pretty buggy at the lower levels but not a problem as long as you keep moving

Comments
Comments: Looped counterclockwise starting from the North Twin trailhead. A low cloud level kept most of the rocks on the trail damp and slick from the mist, especially between Guyot and Zealand on Twinway. Definitely some big mud pits strewn throughout the hike, but nothing that was unavoidable and soul/shoe-sucking. Totally socked without a view the entire day, but a good way to bag 4 peaks regardless! Might come back again to check out the views from the Twins and Guyot.
