Comments
Comments: We took Holt Trail up until a chimney (still in the trees, at about 2300 ft. elevation, I think) and up to there, the trail was 100% wet, so we figured that the scrambling near the top of Holt was not going to be doable, so we backtracked to Grand Junction and instead summited via Holt-Clark cutoff and Clark Trail, before descending via Mowglis Trail to Firescrew Mtn, and then down Manning Trail. But at the summit, we discovered that the upper ledges were mostly dry, and in fact, other hikers had succeeded in summiting via Holt Trail.
