Did the section from Rt 112 to the junction with the Hancock Notch trail, then back. It’s 2.6 miles each way and this has to be one of the flattest, straightest trails in the Whites - right up there with Lincoln Woods, but without the railroad ties. Very pleasant walk past some marsh scenery. The water crossing at 0.3 miles was rock hoppable. I brought water shoes so I used them at the start of the hike but didn’t bother coming back. |
