Comments
Comments: At the third water crossing (larger crossing with the big boulders between the first and second mile), watch out for a hornet nest nestled in the rocks. If you're heading in the direction of the ponds, it's slightly to the right. I somehow missed it on the ascent. When I was descending, I was lucky enough to spot some hornet activity before continuing on that part of the trail. It's avoidable but proceed with caution.
