| Comments: |
We went up the AT and down Lambert which was quite slick on the sloping wet ledges after yesterday's rain. Next time I would go up and down the AT for the varying terrain, better trail conditions and view openings. The tower has unique triangle shaped landings and a heavy trap door to enter the cab. We took the suggestion to prop it open with a trekking pole so we wouldn't have to heave it open on the way down. Saw 4 northbounders and 1 southbounder (through-hikers)
