Trails easily hiked, but there is one wood step missing on Fishin' Jimmie, maybe more. Nothing horrible though. Some of the log swamp bridges are in rough shape, but again, passable. |

saw one tiny, rat-sized dog scrambling up to North Kinsman like a cat or bear. Athletic dogs will have no issues on this hike. |

Was glad to wait for today, weather was perfect. Passed quite a few north-through hikers, one with a broken arm! She broke it in Connecticut and was carefully working her way to Katahdin, complaining--rightfully so-- about Fishin' Jimmy on the descent with one good arm. Tough cookie though. |
