Magalloway Road is in good condition. Tower Road is a little rougher, but still nothing crazy. There’s one or two spots on Tower Road that you need to use a little caution, but going slow shouldn’t be an issue. As others have noted, there’s no sign for Tower Road. It’s a right turn, and if you use Google Maps, it will get you on that road. However, if you are following Google Maps directions to the trailhead, the directions will tell you to take a left off of Tower Road (down a road with grass in the middle). That’s not correct - just continue straight to the end of Tower Road to the parking lot. The lot has space for a fair number of cars. |

There’s a couple of blowdowns, but they seem to have been trimmed back a bit. |

Went up Coot and down Bobcat. Coot is steep, and Bobcat is more gradual. There’s mud on both trails in spots. The Outlook spur behind the cabins provides some lovely views. The very top of the tower was closed, but you can get some incredible 360 degree views just below. |
