Parking/Access Road Notes
Parking/Access Road Notes: Nash Stream Road is in great condition. Absolutely no issues. Saw vehicles of all types from small sedans to SUVs and pickup trucks all navigating it just fine. The parking area for this loop hike is about 2.7 miles down Nash Stream Road if you’re coming Northside Road. The lot itself is just before a small bridge and signs request that you pull in head first at angle. I recall room for at least 6 cars, but maybe a couple more.

Comments
Comments: This is an absolutely stunning loop hike with incredible views - excellent bang for your buck with this one! Skipped the short trip over to South Percy today in the interest of time (we also did Sugarloaf just down the road right after this hike).

The ascent up Percy Peaks Trail is steep and eroded in spots. A little wet and muddy at times. Once you reach the junction with Old Summer Club Trail, continue straight until you reach the hiker register for the Cohos Trail. Signage at this junction is well marked and there is a clear sign telling you which way to go for North Percy Peak.

The slabs up North Percy were almost entirely dry with only some mossy spots in a few areas - cairns and blazes help lead the way up. The views were breathtaking at the summit!

Opted to descend via Percy Loop Trail for a more gradual descent and then walk the 1.1 miles back to the car along Nash Stream Road.
