There are several, but all are easily rock hoppable. |
|
| Trail Maintenance Notes: |
Overall the trails are in awesome shape. A few blowdowns here & there, but they’ve mostly been cleared off of the trail. The ones still across the trail are easy walk overs or duck unders. Drainage is mostly good, there’s no significant mud or standing water. Great work by the trail crews!! |

| Dog-Related Notes: |
Saw a couple - one very well behaved pup enjoying the hike & couldn’t care less about me. The other quickly got a little defensive, but I might have surprised him when I walked around a bend or something… |

| Bugs: |
Hardly any, and none biting. |

I loved this hike! It’s a nice walk in the woods with some steep, rocky climbs mixed in. I read a trail report somewhere where someone (not sure who, or I’d give them credit - sorry!) described this hike as a difficult 2 1/2 mile hike with a 3 1/2 mile approach. I’d say that’s pretty spot on. The only down side was that it was cloudy, foggy, and a little rainy, so I missed out on the incredible views. Oh well, maybe next time! |
