Comments
Comments: Trails were wet this morning following last night's rain. Some stretches were drying out by the afternoon, but there were still plenty of wet slabs/roots/etc., as well as some muddy areas and areas of running water, particularly on Lawrence. Cabin was probably the muddiest, but not terrible.

Nice views from the South Peak ledges (didn't have any interest in bushwhacking to the summit).

Very few people on these trails today, despite the holiday weekend.

Foliage still mostly green, except for hobblebush.

Humid morning giving way to a warm, sunny day with temperatures probably in the upper 70s. Occasional breeze was appreciated.
