I am the trail adopter. I took care of one blowdown below the loop junction, and then notched a step into the large blowdown just below Allen’s Ledge. Then I did a lot of brushing (but it’s nowhere near done, LOL!).
On my way down from the East Ledges I noted that the widowmaker on the relocation had fallen (right on the trail, of course!!). I spent some time delimbing it and working on the spot where it fell, to make it passable.
And then I worked on one of the muddy spots (which is now less muddy!)

I hiked the loop ccw with the intention of taking care of brushing just below the summit. I did what I could but there is a lot more to do! Lots of people out, today, and lots of happy first-timers to Hedgehog! |
