Trails were mostly dry today.
Ski trail mowing continues, with some areas closer to the hiking trail (but not fully; traversing needed). Hiking through the uncut trails not recommended due to high weeds, hidden holes, rash/cut causing weeds, etc.
Leaves already dropping in the upper elevations (high elevation birch are usually the first to go). Hints of fall foliage colors continue to emerge, though the leaves are still predominantly green (for now).
Beautiful late summer/early fall day with temperatures in the 60s. |
