Joe Urner trail 0.9 mile nearly-flat lollipop-shaped trail on Meetinghouse Rd, Gilmanton that begins right where the Tom Howe barn and Tom Howe Retting Pond are. There is a kiosk near the barn and parking, and a trailhead sign along the edge of the woods about 100 yards away. The top end of the trail is alongside scenic Meetinghouse Pond.
Not far from the Joe Urner trail is Frisky Hill. Frisky Hill is located at approximately 1239 Province Road (Route 107) Gilmanton, about a 1/4 mile south of the intersection of 107 & Meetinghouse Rd. Great views of the Belknap mountains. This is mostly a pull-off scenic viewpoint, and its location is not well documented on websites.
