Comments
Comments: The 1st and last time I was on Ammo was 30 years ago and I didn't remember it. I've been avoiding re-doing it, because I've been scared. nothing to be worried about. yes, it gets steep after Gem Pool, but for the most part there are stone steps to hike on. Yes, the ledges could be heart-poundingly slippery, but they were all dry. (I picked a good day.) I accomplished everything I wanted to do, but it took me a very long time. I am not used to hiking on all those rocks and I didn't enjoy the descent down Gulfside or the upper part of Jewell very much. I'll stick to hiking the Presie's in winter when there all covered up with snow.
