| Comments: |
Nice, relatively short hike with Marty. Both trails in good shape. Red trail in particular is well designed for drainage, although everything is currently very dry. We were first car in lot at 9:15 (this was a Friday). By the time we returned shortly after noon lot was almost full. However we saw only one hiker on the trails. She reported seeing a bear on the south side of Piper. Serves as a reminder that it is bear hunting season. |
