Hiking Trail Conditions Report
Peaks
Peaks Mt. Monadnock, NH
Trails
Trails: Marlboro Trail, Dublin Trail
Date of Hike
Date of Hike: Saturday, September 7, 2024
Parking/Access Road Notes
Parking/Access Road Notes: The parking lot is off Shaker Farm Road off Rt. 124. Shaker Farm Road is a dirt road, and it's certainly bumpy in places. Our sedan bottomed out on a rock at one point. A higher clearance vehicle would have been fine. Upon arrival a little after 10am on a Saturday, the lot was barely half full.

Comments
Comments: Overall, great day for this hike. The trails were extremely dry, which was good for all the steep and rocky sections. No issues following the blazes - it's very well marked. This is a much quieter route than other approaches to Monadnock.
