Plenty of space at Beaver Brook and a few spots at Forest Rd 171 pull off on Tunnel Brook Rd. Don't block the gate obv. |

No issues aside from a batch of duckunder blowdowns coming down Benton. |

Mine had fun once he figured out the wooden steps on Beaver Brook. It was dry after the shelter spur so we broke out the water bowl on top. |

No mosquitos, but a few ticks were found during a post-hike check. |

| Comments: |
Beaver Brook was nice, dry, and quick, and Benton was a delightful descent. We opted to use the forest roads to avoid Tunnel Brook Tr, which was a thorn bush mess around this time last year. The forest roads were very quick also.
I saw one hunter (with a rifle, so probably bear this time of year?), which was a good reminder to find the dog's blaze orange stuff as the seasons ramp up. |
