| Comments: |
there is a well packed snowshoe track along the whole route. some new and drifted snow up high, rarely more than a couple inches all tracked out today. a couple spots of minor ice under the snow along the way. we wore snowshoes the whole hike.
not the original plan for the day, but the forecast this morning made the willey range look like a more appealing option and it was actually a great hike for today. cold on the ridge, but mostly protected from the wind with great views from the various outlooks. some really neat clouds over the mountains and beautiful in the snow coated woods up high. thanks cynthia.
