Comments
Comments: Decent visibility. I enjoyed extending the loop via the Beaver Brook and Asquam Ridge Trails. The Beaver Brook Trail is heavily eroded, with lots of boulders, so it slows you down, but it runs along the ridge through loose alpine forest, with lots of sky and views through the trees. The Asquam Ridge Trail has a number of blown-down trees, some of which could be climbed over, others requiring short bushwhack detours. Despite this, I appreciated the gentle downhill gradient of the Asquam trail through a peaceful forest.
