A few sprinkles this morning, so I took the gravel work road up the ski trails to the Sosman Trail. Not a soaking rain, so things dried off quickly.
Ski trails are substantially mowed at this point, other than some steeps that are cut by hand.
Birch leaves have dropped up high, covering the trail for the time being. Still some nice golden foliage in the upper elevations. Lower elevation foliage is still fairly green, but colors are emerging.
Cloudy day with a breeze up high. Not sure what the temperature was up top, but it felt like October. |
