| Parking/Access Road Notes: |
Plenty of spots (surprised it wasn’t busier). |
| Surface Conditions: |
Dry Trail |
| Recommended Equipment: |
| Water Crossing Notes: |
None unless you do all of Trestle. The bridge in Trestle is no longer there so you will have to rock hop or wade. |
| Trail Maintenance Notes: |
If you’re doing Trestle there’s one place where you can get turned around thanks to the XC ski trail and the fact that Trestle does this weird loop. |
| Dog-Related Notes: |
Saw three other pups today. |
| Bugs: |
Not a single one. |
| Lost and Found: |
Found a blue AMC pullover. Left it on the sign at the intersection between the peaks. There was also a hat on a tree. |

| Comments: |
This was our dog’s surgery recovery hike. She had a benign tumor removed. The stitches come off tomorrow but the vet gave us clearance to do something milder this weekend. She was very excited. Turned out to be a beautiful day. It was sunnier, warmer, and less windy than at the Highland Center. Guess we picked the right side of the ridge. I’m behind in my trip pic postings on Insta but I’ll get a few up tonight (quantum.moxie). |
