Comments
Comments: I thought I’d share a report since the last one I see was from 2022, although it is very detailed. I don’t always check these before going, but it’s good to know how the road access is up there. I drove over from Jay Peak in Vt after camping there, arriving in Pittsburg around 11:00 am. The weather was perfect. After some debating which peaks to hit first, I just started driving up Indian Stream West side road. This is mostly a driving quest anyway, if I’m honest. You can drive within a mile of each of these peaks, then it’s 300-500 feet of climbing through mostly hardwoods. I wandered around a bit on the summits as the highest bump isn’t always obvious, but they all had jars. No grand views really, but it was peaceful to just sit and relax in the quiet forest. I look forward to returning.
