| Parking/Access Road Notes: |
About a dozen cars at Appalachia at 7am, maybe that or fewer at 5-6pm. |

| Surface Conditions: |
Dry Trail |

| Recommended Equipment: |

|
| Water Crossing Notes: |
Anything that has water in it has dried up. One showed a tiny pool, and a trickling sound could be heard. Upcoming rain will change this, but crossings on Valley Way are small anyway. |
|
| Trail Maintenance Notes: |
Trails are in decent shape. While going up that first steep portion of Gulfside from the hut, headed toward Adams, we found ourselves off the trail a few times, on loose gravel. On looking around, the "steps" with boulders lining the sides could be seen just yards away. |

| Dog-Related Notes: |
Saw none. |

| Comments: |
Nice OTHH outing, with Larry finishing up his round 5. Any clouds grazing the summits went away before we got that high, although by mid-afternoon we could see some grazing the top of Washington across the Great Gulf. |
