One large tree down across trail 1/4 mile in from Rt 25 trailhead, too high to climb over, people are going off trail to a duck under spot. Other areas along trail have obvious areas where down trees were cut/cleared (thank you). |

Very quiet day on the trail. Just saw two others, two SOBO hikers trekking together. Otherwise peaceful woods.
Signs of a recent campfire by the pond.
Some yellows and a few reds for foliage showing, but still mostly green on the trees.
Skipped Webster Slide this time, and excuse to go back.
A couple was staged with trail magic at the trailhead early afternoon. Not sure they saw many hikers, but it was a lovely day to be outside! |
