The new Welton Falls Trail (North) is a year old, and is bedding in nicely. Elwell Trail to Bear Mountain has some nice fall color popping up, but it's still well before peak.
Someone has added quite a few new blazes to the lower section of the Welton Falls Trail -- some seem redundant, given that they appear about 10 feet from or directly across from, existing blazes -- but, perhaps more is better?
The local snowmobile club has recently cleaned up and regraded the choppy mess that existed for the past year where the hiking trail crossed the snowmobile trail early on, near Valley View Road. (Thank you for this!)
As usual, we saw no one else on the trail. |
