Water Crossing Notes
Water Crossing Notes: most streams are completely dry
Trail Maintenance Notes
Trail Maintenance Notes: Hard to find where the trail goes back into the woods on the cliff, clockwise (it's very near the cliff). Faded blazes and yellow lichen got me off course).
Dog-Related Notes
Dog-Related Notes: Very doable but most streams are dry. Two dogs on the trail today. There is a very narrow stretch near cliffs.

Comments
Comments: Starting after noon and working clockwise, I saw few hikers until the ledges. The clockwise direction means you wander sideways and downhill before working back up to the ledges. The ledges have amazing views leaving the summit views less impressive. I wasn't sure I was at the summit until the trail was clearly descending. The side jaunt up to Allen's ledge made up for it. Foliage was amazing and this was a great little hike!
