Comments
Comments: Austin Brook trail was nice, lots of red maple leaves in the mix of colors right now. I went and visited the plane crash site, a very short bushwhack down (Shown on Gaia as a trail) and then there is a yellow blazed property line to follow. I ran into these yellow blazes again while bushwhacking Bald Cap, on the North side of the AT. I think most folks hike these peaks from Success Pond road, and rock climbers had signed the register on North Bald Cap, coming up the impressive cliffs. They are both short but scrappy whacks from the AT side. I utilized moose paths for both. Some marshy spots but my feet stayed dry. I got scratched up good.
