List: NH 500 Highest (12X48.com)
Trail type: road and bushwhack
Jar/Canister: yes
We parked next to the now closed Recreation Center in Coleman State Park. Note that we were also paying guests. Inquire at Office about parking fees or if it may be free. Coleman State Park is off Diamond Pond Road, a nice paved road that leaves NH 26 just outside of Dixville Notch.
After leaving the cars, we walked a whopping 0.2 miles to a dirt road that leads upwards on the left. There is no sign and it is not named on Gaia. We walked to the radio tower then began our short bushwhack from there.
Jar intact. Register dry. Pencil sharp. |
