Comments: List: NH 500 Highest
Trail type: bushwhack
Jar/Canister: yes

We left Coleman State Park on Diamond Pond Road (good, paved road),heading back towards NH 26, and turned onto Heath Road. This road is signed. It is a decent dirt road with some erosion in parts, no issue for any vehicle. We travelled down Heath Road until we came to the junction with Noyes Road. This also turned out to be a very good dirt road. Note that both roads also serve ATVs. We travelled up Noyes Road until we found a decent pull out and parked the car along the shoulder of the road taking care to not impede any traffic. We had to walk back down the road a short distance to find a good entry point. There were a few notable good open woods corridors tucked in between the tight evergreen clumps. We took a bearing and walked up to the summit. In general, if you are willing to “bob and weave,” you can avoid all the pine tree clumps. It is not a long bushwhack.

Jar present, register dry.
