Trail Type: snowmobile trail and bushwhack
Jar/Canister: yes

We travelled on NH 145 until we met Hardscrabble Road. We turned onto this good dirt road and took it until it ended at someone’s driveway. I refused to attempt to park here, thus turned around and drove back down the road until I could find a suitable pull off. It was not too far back that I found one for my SUV. We walked back up to the driveway, then continued onto the snowmobile trail that diverges a bit to the right of the driveway. In a short distance we encountered a very old sign that said the road was for snowmobiles only. It did not prohibit pedestrian access. We followed the snowmobile trail as outlined in Gaia. On ground, note that there are several diverging snowmobile paths throughout this area. Some have signs, one had a kiosk. The snowmobile trail that we followed as quite muddy in a few sections. The dry weather of late helped to be able to negotiate the apparently normally deep mud. We walked until we found a decent place to enter the woods, shot a bearing and went the short distance to the summit. I cannot remember the ‘whack. It was our 7th peak of the day and we were doing everything we could to get out of the woods before sunset.

Jar present and for sure this register was dry.
