Comments: A FINE day was had in Henrys Woods. We were looking for redemption for last weeks idea. The rain had us do this in reverse, reaching Zealand in pretty decent time. From Zealand, we bushwhacked along the long ridge crest to the north, finding equally scrappy and tight juvenile spruce woods. We then reached a knob and the woods prohibited us from our original plan so we opted for an easterly bushwhack off of it, then swung northerly following the toe of the rubbley cliff and blowdown bands. It was very much a goldilocks line. It's also apparent why 99.9999% of people who do Zeale do it from L-A-H. Once getting away from that area we found better woods and better moving. All in all, it took us about 2 hours to go the 1.75 miles to Zeale. So that should be a clue as we all bushwhack often and can usually move quite deftly through terrain. From Zeale, we found loose herd/moose paths to he bog - "I love the smell of rotting leaves in the afternoon." No issues to Hale, we then bushwhacked off Hale to a lovely spot, if you know, you know. We found the old Hale Brook corridor on our way out, that was fantastic! Foliage is great, likely peak. Noted a lot of the birch leaves in the glade on Whitewall are already gone. Mondays 1/2"+ of rain and 20-30mph winds will likely take a lot of stuff down, too
